Greeters welcome all people – parishioners or visitors, Catholics or non-Catholics – to Mass. They stand outside the church and invite every person to come inside to participate.
 
This important ministry often serves as our first contact with newcomers and visitors to the parish, so Greeters should be warm, engaging, welcoming beacons of Christ's love to strangers. They should have excellent people-skills and be friendly, cheerful, outgoing, gracious, and – above all else – welcoming to anyone and everyone who comes to St. Cyril & Methodius. They should embody and embrace the word “hospitality.”
